On-Upbringing: New Family Structures. The paper depicts the daily interactions developing within a new household, as I image it. Three Easy Steps take you on a guided tour sightseeing this development. Obstacles, however, bar the way.A Baseline for Human Understanding. One word that
characterises this manuscript is ‘food’. No aspect of human activity is left untouched
by it. This draft book highlights the importance of food and the politics behind
it. Also covered are the economy (credit crunch, job market, economies of
scale), social ills (urban sprawls, families in meltdown), land issues, and war.
The latter was prompted in part by A Taste
of War (L Collingham), a book that explores the ‘often overlooked
dimension’ of food to our understanding of conflict and wars. Food issues, says
